WESTFIELD TWP. -- Senior volleyball player Laura McDermott from Cloverleaf has been named the SportsInk.com Athlete of the Week.
McDermott is a three-year starter for the Colts and was named to the All-Medina County and All-Suburban League teams in 2007 and 2008. She also earned first-team Division I All-District honors as a junior.
Laura will be taking her volleyball talents to Morehead State's NCAA Division I program next fall.
