Stow junior Vickie Havas has 21 goals for the Bulldogs' soccer team to date.

STOW -- This week's SportsInk.com Athlete of the Week is Stow-Munroe Falls junior girls soccer standout Vickie Havas.

Havas is a three-year varsity letter winner and already has 21 goals this season. She has been first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference since she was a freshman and was first team all-district as a sophomore.

Recently, Havas had four goals in a 5-4 win over Wadsworth and then followed that up with two goals in the Bulldogs' win over Valley Forge. She had nine goals as a freshman, 28 as a sophomore, and now 21 as a junior.

Havas began playing soccer at the age of three and now plays 12 months a year between the high school team and her club team. She plans on taking her soccer talents to college andwill pursue a career in nursing.
