Woodridge won its fourth straight OHSAA Div. II boys cross country title on Saturday, edging Elyria Catholic by five points. Junior Kyle Cochrun paced the Bulldogs finishing eighth.

COLUMBUS -- Woodridge edged Elyria Catholic by five points on Saturday to capture a fourth straight OHSAA boys Division II cross country championship at Scioto Downs.

Woodridge, led by junior Kyle Cochrun, who placed eighth (16:24.88), totaled 93 points to Elyria Catholic's 98. Cochrun was 12th among all D-II runners.

The Bulldogs' top five placed: 8-11-16-25-33, compared to EC's 3-10-22-23-40.

CVCA ranked fifth in the team standings. St. Vincent-St. Mary came in seventh and Archbishop Hoban was 11th.
