Woodridge wins fourth straight state title
 PHOTO BY JUSTPHOTOS.BIZ Woodridge won its fourth straight OHSAA Div. II boys cross country title on Saturday, edging Elyria Catholic by five points. Junior Kyle Cochrun paced the Bulldogs finishing eighth.
COLUMBUS -- Woodridge edged Elyria Catholic by five points on Saturday to capture a fourth straight OHSAA boys Division II cross country championship at Scioto Downs.
Woodridge, led by junior Kyle Cochrun, who placed eighth (16:24.88), totaled 93 points to Elyria Catholic's 98. Cochrun was 12th among all D-II runners.
The Bulldogs' top five placed: 8-11-16-25-33, compared to EC's 3-10-22-23-40.
CVCA ranked fifth in the team standings. St. Vincent-St. Mary came in seventh and Archbishop Hoban was 11th.
