The 2009 All-City Series volleyball team included Kenmore honorable mention players Ashley Adams and Markayla Powers.
AKRON -- Akron City Series runnerup Ellet could not get past City Series rival Firestone in four tries during the recently completely high school volleyball season.
But with the announcement of the All-City Series volleyball team, the Orangemen captured top prize.
Ellet junior Kayla Dadich has been named City Series Player of the Year.
Francine Blake of Buchtel is the City Series Coach of the Year, after guiding the Griffins to their most competitive season in recent memory.
