We are so glad you have found us! Launched on August 24, 2009, SportsInk.com seeks to provide its readers with a first-class, comprehensive, multimedia look at high school sports in our two counties.

We hope to communicate the excitement and passion of high school athletics, while at the same time provide factually correct and complete information.

 Please stick with us. We will endure some growing pains, like any first-year enterprise, but we’ll improve as we push toward our goal of providing a classy, state-of-the-art website for the athletes, coaches, parents, school district residents, and alumni at all 35 of our high schools.

We are in the business of reporting the achievements of your sons and daughters, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews. No professional teams here. We are LOCAL. We’ll be at your games. We’ll know your athletic directors and coaches on a first-name basis. We are about relationships.

Furthermore, we seek to operate with journalistic responsibility. Gossip, bashing, and trash talking has no place on our site. This is a news and information site first.

Our team includes five respected sports writers and broadcasters (you can see bios on the SportsInk Team page). Our starting lineup has more than 100 years of combined experience in the news media business and all of us are enthusiastic about high school sports and this project.   We're also supported by a number of freelance journalists and photographers who also believe in our vision.

In addition to the efforts of our editorial staff, we have many experienced and professional people working behind-the-scenes to ensure our success, including the staff of our website designer Pilot Fish and our parent company, Sports Reporting Technologies LLC, which developed this site's technology platform.
