After battling through the rugged Suburban League wrestling wars, the Barberton Magics had no trouble dealing with the toughness of the North Canton Hoover Division I Sectional.

The Barberton Magics are glad to have junior Christlin Cline back in their lineup. An outfielder, Cline is recovering from a rare heart valve disorder. Barberton topped Revere 4-3 on Sunday at Firestone Stadium.

Archbishop Hoban catcher Lucas Sokol, seen here in the regional championship against Lake Catholic, had a great day at the plate, with four hits and three runs scored, but the Knights came up just short in the Division II state championship game on Saturday.
