Field teammates Williams and Robinson sandwiched Norton for most of the race, then pulled ahead to take first and second. Robinson finished first with a time of 10:34 and Williams with a time of 10:35

Norton's seventh-grade girls basketball team won the Portage Trail Conference Tournament title. The Panthers also finished second in the eighth-grade bracket.

Ray Radosevic and Mike Plouse led Norton to a great 2009-2010 season.
