COLUMBUS -- Copley junior Samuel Wheeler lost a 9-3 decision in the 171-pound finals at the OHSAA Wrestling Championship on Saturday at Value City Arena.

Wheeler's final season record is 53-1 and includes Dies Memorial, Suburban League, Sectional, and District titles.

His opponent Josh Demas of Westerville North completed his season 47-1.

Copley junior 140-pounder Jon Garrison (39-9) won one and lost two at the state meet.
