AKRON -- The Akron City Series football teams have been announced by athletics director Joe Howard. Garfield standouts -- senior running back Tyson Gulley and junior lineman Kevin Brewton -- are the City Series offensive and defensive players of the year, respectively. Buchtel's Ricky Powers, who guided the Griffins to a City Series championship, is the coach of the year. The complete teams are listed.
